All our new huts are built using the finest materials sourced from local suppliers and handcrafted with the finest workmanship and attention to detail.

We start by using pressure treated exterior grade timber for the framework. We construct the frame using 3x2 and 4x2 for the base.

The base sits on a damp proof course on top of concrete slabs to prevent the hut from coming into contact with the promenade, this keeps it away from water, stones and sand. The base is then bolted into the ground to stop the hut moving during the storms. 

All plywood used is marine grade and is of the highest quality. We have been using the same plywood for a long time and is tried and tested against this environment. 

All other trim is pressure treated and for external use, with many pieces having to be hand worked and planed to create the bespoke finish we and our customers require. 

All huts are then knotted and coated with aluminium primer before being coated with a trade exterior mid grey undercoat and two coats of trade exterior grade gloss.
